Case Study

This project involved the installation of a 250kg 3 person hydraulic platform lift to travel from the ground floor up to 3 upper floor levels (one apartment on each floor) within a period property in London with the lift travelling directly into each apartment (as opposed to a communal landing area).

On entering this boutique luxury lift on the ground floor the residents of one of the 3 apartments on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors tap in their unique security code for their own individual apartment in to the key pad (as illustrated). Next, using one of the circular lift buttons below the keypad the resident then selects the floor number of their apartment.

The lift will only operate when the security number is correct and the floor requested is also correct and corresponds to the security number entered for that particular apartment thus ensuring residents only have access to their own apartment and not the other apartments on the other floors.
