In this instance we helped the client save considerable expense by being able to avoid the necessity of having to install a three phase electrical power supply to the property for the lift in this project, a large house which was being renovated and converted into luxury apartments.
Although this 8 person traction lift, which serves the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floors, is powered by the standard single phase UK 230volt electricity supply it has a very respectable travel rate/ speed of 0.6 meters per second.
Another interesting feature of this boutique luxury lift is that the interior of the lift car door is finished to match the walls of the lift car- as opposed to having the interior face of lift doors in a stainless finish.
